Project Hydra: Iterations Privacy Policy
Effective Date: Jan 1, 2025
Last Updated: October 5, 2026

TL;DR
Project Hydra: Iterations does not require user accounts, passwords, or personal contact information. To help us understand performance, diagnose technical issues, and improve the experience, Project Hydra: Iterations uses Unity Analytics to collect anonymous, pseudonymous gameplay and device telemetry (such as device model, OS version, session duration, and gameplay milestones). We do not sell your data, we do not track you across other apps, and we do not use advertising identifiers. On Apple Vision Pro, your eye tracking, hand tracking, and room sensing data stay on the device; visionOS never exposes raw sensor data to applications. Platform storefronts (Apple App Store, Meta Horizon Store) also collect their own platform-level diagnostic data under their respective policies.

Who We Are
Project Hydra: Iterations is developed and distributed by Parietal Lab, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy describes our practices with respect to the Project Hydra: Iterations application, available on the Apple App Store (for Apple Vision Pro, running visionOS) and the Meta Horizon Store.
—
Information We Collect
Project Hydra: Iterations does not collect personal contact information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) or create user accounts.
Gameplay and Diagnostic Analytics (Unity Analytics)
We use Unity Analytics (a service provided by Unity Technologies) to understand how players interact with Project Hydra: Iterations and ensure the application runs smoothly across supported spatial hardware.
When you run the application, Unity Analytics automatically collects certain technical and usage information, including:
* Device and System Details: Device model, operating system and version (such as visionOS or Meta Horizon OS), system language, graphics configuration, and screen resolution.
* Pseudonymous Identifiers: A randomly generated installation identifier created by the Unity SDK to distinguish unique game installations. This identifier is not linked to your name, Apple ID, or Meta account.
* Session and Gameplay Data: Timestamps, session start/end times, play duration, and in-game milestone events (such as progression, interaction completions, and feature usage).
* Coarse Location: General region or country derived from your IP address upon transmission. IP addresses are processed by Unity for regional routing and are not made available to us as raw identifiers.
How We Use This Information
We use this data solely to:
* Monitor stability, framerate health, and hardware compatibility.
* Understand gameplay flow, pacing, and interaction clarity.
* Prioritize bug fixes, performance optimizations, and future feature updates.
We do not sell, rent, or monetize this data, nor do we use it for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.
—
Spatial and Hardware Sensor Data
On Apple Vision Pro, visionOS handles all eye tracking, hand tracking, and spatial room sensing directly at the system level. Project Hydra: Iterations receives only high-level gesture and interaction events; raw eye tracking images and spatial environment data remain on the local device and are never accessible to the app, stored, or transmitted.
—
Third-Party Service Providers
* Unity Technologies: Analytics telemetry is processed and stored by Unity Technologies in accordance with the Unity Gaming Services Privacy Policy. Unity acts as a data processor for the analytics data described above.
—
Platform-Level Data (Outside Our Control)
The platforms on which Project Hydra: Iterations is sold and runs may collect their own data under their own privacy policies. This typically includes, but is not limited to:
* Apple App Store and visionOS: download history, purchase history, automatic crash reports, performance diagnostics, and aggregate usage statistics, governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
* Meta Horizon Store and Meta Horizon OS: similar platform-level data, governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy.
These platforms may share aggregate, non-identifying analytics with us (for example, total downloads or aggregate session counts). We do not receive personally identifiable information about individual users from these platforms.
—
Data Control and Opt-Out
Unity provides mechanisms for players to review data collection practices and exercise privacy rights. Where supported by the platform build, players can request data access or deletion regarding their installation identifier through Unity’s privacy portal. For any inquiries regarding analytics data, contact us at [email protected].
—
Children
Project Hydra: Iterations is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
—
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and post the revised version at the same URL. Material changes will also be reflected in the TL;DR.
